No parking fee. Panther Creek Falls is 5.5 miles, ending where Davidson Creek joins Panther Creek. The trail passes high shoals at 2.3 miles and Panther Creek Falls at 3.3 miles. Hikers who carry large packs should be cautious around rocky overhangs. Directions: Take U.S. Highway 441 North from Cornelia 16 miles. Turn left onto Glen Hardman Road (at The Orchard Golf Course billboard sign), then right onto Historic Highway 441 for one mile to the parking lot. Details: 706-754-6221
