The restored turn of the century structure has retained the original pressed tin ceiling and hardwood flooring of the early 1920’s.The ambiance of the building also creates the ideal setting for meals Monday through Friday, 7:30 – 2:00, desserts and drinks in the afternoon, and brunch on Saturday 10:00 - 2:00. Come early and start your day with a made to order omelet and gourmet coffee or tea but save room for lunch. Our made from scratch chicken salad with grapes is the big draw for lunch. You may choose the daily special or order from our sandwich, soup, or salad menu. To see the menu please click on our website above. We offer an indoor seating area where you can eat in a comfortable setting, as well as a sunroom where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or a cup of our freshly ground and brewed coffee with dessert. Our menu selections are also available for catering your business or personal event. The gift and home décor shop encourages lingering and enjoying a quiet relaxed moment in your day. Gourmet foods, whole bean coffee with over thirty-five flavors from around the world, tea, southern delicacies, cookbooks, local pottery, antiques, collectibles, baby gifts, candles, plush animals, unique baskets, books, cards, earthenware table top and kitchen accessories, earth friendly natural personal care products, and many more unique and interesting gifts fill the shop. Our shop is also known for beautiful custom made gift baskets for any special occasion either personal or business. The customer may select gifts from our shop and even bring in their own additions to make the basket more personal. We add the basket, coordinating paper shred, shrink wrap, and ribbon to produce a delightful gift fit for your special occasion. Located in our basement is a stocked wine cellar with wines from around the world and from our own northeast Georgia region. Our selection includes local award winning wines of Habersham Winery, Frogtown Cellars, Wolf Mountain, and Tiger Mountain Vineyards. Many visit our cellar to choose their wine for a quiet dinner at home, for gifts, and to create gift baskets with wine and wine accessories.
